Meet The Kavli Prize Laureates from 2020 and 2022 and watch the interviews by science communicator and BBC profile Vivienne Parry together with science journalist and engineer Danielle George.

The interviews are filmed with a live audience. The ticket includes free admission to the Munch Museum.

Registration for this event will open August 1.

The event is hosted by the President of The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, Lise Øvreås, in cooperation with the Director at the Munch Museum, Stein Olav Henrichen.

Session 1: Astrophysics
Interviews with the Kavli Prize Laureates Andrew Fabian (2020), Jørgen Christensen-Dalsgaard (2022) and Roger Ulrich (2022).

Session 2: Nanoscience
Interviews with the Kavli Prize Laureates Harald Rose, Maximillian Haider, Knut Urban and Ondrej L. Krivanek (all 2020) and Ralph G. Nuzzo, Jacob Sagiv and George Whitesides (2022).

Session 3: Neuroscience
Interviews with the Kavli Prize Laureates David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian (both 2020) and Jean-Louis Mandel, Harry T. Orr, Christopher A. Walsh and Huda Y. Zoghbi (2022).

The program ends around 16.00. During lunch hours, there is a possibility to find good eateries around the Munch Museum and possible to visit the museum.
